Abstract: An animal-actuated feed-dispensing apparatus is provided by the present invention. The invention includes a feed storage bin having a dispensing opening closed by a swingable gate that is swingable between open and closed positions. The gate has first and second diverging members therefor defining therebetween a feed charge chamber that receives feed from the storage bin when said gate is swung open, the feed being dispensed from the charge chamber into an animal feeding area when said gate swings from the open to the closed position. The gate is actuated by the engagement of the second member by the animal.
