Abstract: News content can be presented in accordance with systems and methods described herein. These systems and methods can include at least one download server that can be coupled to content providers that provide the news content. The download server can download at least part of the news content. The system can also include a database with information related to at least a subset of the downloaded news content and to one or more users. Additionally, the system can include a content delivery network that can store at least part of the downloaded news content and a web server that can be configured to present an item of the at least a portion of the downloaded news content to a user device. The item can be the highest scoring item selected in response to a database query, and the scoring can be based on a weighted average of metrics.
