Abstract: Passing a fluid though a single filter module effectively removes at least two different types of impurities from the fluid. The fluid is directed through at least two different types of filtering media within the single module. The at least two different types of filtering media are separated from one another, within the single module, by a porous containment layer of the module; and, one of the at least two different type of filtering media forms a core of the module, which is surrounded by the porous containment layer.
Abstract: A combination manifold and single lever cantered element system to which a filter module removably attaches. A ΒΌ rotation of the single lever mediates simultaneous operation of both valving and filter module release, and facilitates changing removably attachable filter modules without the need for tools.
