  • Patent number: 10488244
Abstract: A self-filling graduated cylinder system for efficiently filling a graduated cylinder with a chemical solution. The self-filling graduated cylinder system generally includes a graduated cylinder having an interior, an upper end, an upper opening in the upper end a lower end opposite of the upper end, and a check valve attached to the graduated cylinder near the lower end of the graduated cylinder. The check valve is adapted to allow a liquid chemical to flow upwardly through the check valve into the graduated cylinder and to prevent the liquid chemical within the interior of the graduated cylinder from flowing downwardly through the check valve. A vacuum device is fluidly connected to the graduated cylinder to draw the liquid chemical upwardly to an upper level within the graduated cylinder. Alternatively, a pump device pumps liquid chemical into the graduated cylinder.

  • Patent number: 10405713
Abstract: A central vacuum cleaning system having a floor level debris pickup valve preferably mounted in the bottom of a cabinet and connected to a tubular conduit of a vacuum producing unit by a connection assembly. The connection assembly includes a flexible and expandable hose having a pair of end connectors. Each end connector preferably is a bayonet connector. The hose is connected at one end to the rigid tubular conduit of the central vacuum system and the other end connector is pulled through an opening formed in the cabinet by expanding the hose. The expandable hose enables the pickup valve to be attached easily to the other end of the hose, afterwhich the hose is retracted back into a restricted space below the cabinet bottom wall and the pickup valve then attached to the cabinet.

  • Patent number: 7582164
Abstract: A tire dressing system for efficiently and accurately applying tire dressing to vehicle tires. The tire dressing system generally includes a support unit, a spray unit movably positioned within the support unit, an actuator unit connected to the spray unit, a tire sensor to determine the size of a vehicle tire, and a tire position sensor to determine the location of the vehicle tire. The spray unit includes a hollow cone nozzle telescopically supported within the spray unit to adjust the spray pattern applied to the sidewall of the vehicle tire depending upon the size of the vehicle tire. After the size of the vehicle tire is determined, the proximity of the hollow cone nozzle is adjusted to apply the desired spray pattern to the sidewall. The hollow cone nozzle then applies the dressing to the sidewall of the vehicle tire as the vehicle moves by the spray unit.
