    Abstract: An improved chute for conveying bulk materials from a higher location to a lower location includes a number of frustoconical hoppers, which are held in vertically-spaced relationship with the conical axes of adjacent hoppers inclined in different directions relative to the longitudinal axis (35) of the chute. The chute is much less liable than prior chutes to cause segregation or degradation of the bulk material being conveyed.
