Abstract: A drivable projection for a toner cartridge drum gear includes an axially extending support portion having a plurality of axially extending edges and an end face. A plurality of substantially spherical engagement portions are supported by the support portion, and each engagement portion defines a center that may be substantially aligned with the end face and/or substantially aligned with a respective one of the plurality of axially extending edges. The engagement portions are configured to receive driving rotatable force from the drive mechanism of a printer.
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method provides an assembly that contains a first drum-cylinder having an inner periphery surface and a drive gear assembly, wherein a portion of the drive gear assembly is in contact with the inner periphery surface, separates the drive gear assembly from the first drum-cylinder, inserts the portion of the drive gear assembly into a second drum-cylinder, and couples the drive gear assembly to the second drum-cylinder.
Abstract: A gasket seal is disclosed. The gasket seal containing a gasket defining an opening containing a first gasket longitudinal edge, a second gasket longitudinal edge, a gasket transverse edge, wherein the gasket transverse edge forms a 90 degree angle with the first gasket longitudinal edge and the second gasket longitudinal edge, a seal strip containing a first seal longitudinal edge, a second seal longitudinal edge, and a seal transverse edge, wherein the seal transverse edge forms an acute angle with the first seal longitudinal edge wherein the seal transverse edge forms an obtuse angle with the second seal longitudinal edge, wherein the seal strip is removably coupled with the gasket.
Abstract: A remanufactured toner cartridge includes a wall defining a fill hole that is used to refill the cartridge with toner. A patch covers the fill hole, and a heat activated adhesive non-removably attaches the patch to the wall. The fill hole can be formed with a heat knife such that when the heat knife is withdrawn it forms a raised ridge of material extending around the perimeter of the fill hole. The patch is attached to the wall by applying heat and pressure to the patch, which also softens and at least partially flattens the ridge of material surrounding the fill hole such that the patch is substantially flush with the wall upon completion of the operation.

Abstract: Systems, methods and structures for remanufacturing inkjet printer cartridges and inkjet printer print heads by removing the print head and adhesive holding the print head to a used inkjet printer cartridge, preparing the cartridge housing for a new print head by routing out the used print head and used adhesive to create a new mounting surface for new adhesive and a new print head, placing the adhesive and new print head on the new mounting surface, curing the adhesive and assembling a re-manufactured cartridge from the cartridge housing having a new print head positioned thereon.
Abstract: A device is disclosed. The device contains a roller, a housing configured to accommodate the roller, at least one seal comprising a first material, wherein the at least one seal is disposed between the roller and the housing, and at least one second material disposed adjacent to the seal.
Abstract: A manufacturing center configured for use with a plurality of tools and a plurality of nests. The manufacturing center includes a base configured for coupling with one of the plurality of nests. The base includes a base electrical connector. The manufacturing center also includes an arm configured for coupling with one of the plurality of tools. The arm has an end movable with respect to the base, and the end includes an arm electrical connector. A controller is operable to control movement of the arm and is in communication with the base electrical connector and the arm electrical connector. The controller is operable to identify which one of the plurality of tools is coupled with the arm and which one of the plurality of nests is coupled with the base at least in part by way of communication with the arm electrical connector and the base electrical connector.

Abstract: A system and method for providing a trade-in price quotation to a first mobile device and comparing the first mobile device against a second mobile device. The system receives from the first mobile device a quote and compare request including information associated with a characteristic of each of the mobile devices. The system receives a mobile device value amount for the first mobile device based upon the information associated with the characteristic of the first mobile device, calculates a trade-in price quotation based upon the mobile device value amount for the first mobile device, and receives a retail price of the second mobile device based upon the information associated with a characteristic of the second mobile device, to calculate a net price of the second mobile device, and sends the trade-in price quotation and the net price to the first mobile device.
