Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) is provided. The IC includes a cache memory divided into a plurality of groups, and an address decoder. Each of the groups includes a plurality of sets, and one of the groups is assigned as a first group and the remaining groups are assigned as a plurality of second groups. The first group and the second groups are assigned in rotation for a plurality of time periods, and each of the groups is assigned in a corresponding single one of the time periods. The address decoder is configured to provide a physical address according to an access address of the cache memory. The sets of the first group that is assigned in a first time period are not overlapping with the sets of other first groups that are assigned in the time periods other than the first time period.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a side airbag device including: an inflator that discharges gas; a cushion that covers the inflator and is expanded toward a side of a passenger by the gas discharged from the inflator; and a tether that is disposed through and around the cushion and induces an upper portion of the cushion to bend when the cushion expands, thereby being able to prevent a passenger-to-passenger collision and protect even one passenger.
Abstract: An air conditioner and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The air conditioner implements a multistage expansion scheme by implementing serial connection between electronic expansion valves including in the R410A refrigerant-based air conditioner, and thus guarantees an optimum compression ratio in all cooling/heating load regions. Therefore, although cycle characteristics are changed by changing R410A refrigerant to R32 refrigerant, the air conditioner optimizes the cycle simply by controlling a degree of opening of electronic expansion valves, respectively. As described above, since the cycle optimization is implemented using the multistage expansion scheme in which legacy electronic expansion valves are coupled in series, the design modification is minimized without design modification of requisite constituent elements such as a heat exchanger, system implementation is facilitated, resulting in high efficiency in cost and productivity.

Abstract: A drive assist controller verifies the driving intention of a driver on the basis of whether or not the driver is contacting the steering wheel when a lane-maintaining control is being executed. An automatic driving controller verifies the driving intention of the driver on the basis of whether or not the driver is gripping the steering wheel when automatic driving is being performed. This configuration makes it possible to appropriately determine the driving intention of a driver, by changing the method of verifying the driving intention of the driver between cases when the driver has driving authority and cases when the vehicle has driving authority.
Abstract: A gas turbine engine includes: an engine case; an engine rotation shaft rotatably supported by the engine case via a bearing member; a first flange extending from the engine case to define a first annular contact surface facing in an axial direction; and a bearing case having an inner end supporting the bearing member and a second flange defining a second annular contact surface that coaxially contacts the first annular contact surface. The second flange is joined to the first flange so as to be movable radially relative to the first flange when applied with a load greater than or equal to a predetermined value in a direction to move the second flange radially relative to the first flange. An outer circumferential edge of one of the first and second flanges is provided with an opposing piece opposing an outer circumferential edge of the other via a radial gap.
Abstract: The present invention provides a rapid and high-sensitivity method to detect virus by qPCR nucleic acid amplification. A viral sample containing a RNA virus such as a corona virus is mixed with a virus preservation solution and a nucleic acid amplification reaction preparation (which can be in a lyophilized powder) to prepare the PCR-sample solution. The virus preservation solution can preserve the viral sample and prevent RNA degradation at room temperature for an extended period of time. No viral nucleic acid extraction step is needed.

Abstract: A Gamma voltage divider circuit, a voltage adjusting method, and a liquid crystal display device are proposed. Compared to the arrangement of voltage dividing resistor string of the existing Gamma voltage divider circuit, by changing the mapping of band point voltages, the application can optimize accuracy of low gray-level voltages in a further step, improve the display effect, and at the same time, reduce the number of voltage dividing resistors and lower the complexity and cost of the Gamma voltage divider circuit. The Gamma voltage divider circuit is adaptable to the voltage dividing resistor string settings of OLED display panels as well as LCD panels.
