The semiconductor device includes: a substrate having a cell block; a plurality of capacitors, which are in the cell block of the substrate and have first electrodes; and a support pattern, which contacts sidewalls of the first electrodes of the plurality of capacitors and supports the plurality of capacitors, wherein the support pattern includes an upper support pattern including: a first upper pattern having a plate-like structure connected as a whole in the cell block; and a second upper pattern, which contacts a bottom surface of the first upper pattern and has a top surface having a smaller area than the bottom surface of the first upper pattern, the upper support pattern contacting sidewalls of upper ends of the first electrodes.

Abstract: A lighting circuit for a light source includes a drive circuit that supplies a lamp current to the light source, detects the lamp current, and executes feedback control such that the lamp current approaches a target current, and an overcurrent protection circuit that is inserted between the drive circuit and the light source and that restricts the lamp current flowing into the light source so that the lamp current does not exceed an overcurrent threshold value. The overcurrent protection circuit includes a transistor, an inductor, a rectifier, a current sensor that generates a current detection signal according to the lamp current, and an overcurrent protection controller that controls ON/OFF of the transistor based on the current detection signal and the overcurrent threshold value. The transistor, the inductor and the rectifier are disposed in a T-shape.

The integration of two important functions into the polarizer can not only improve the color gamut and the light utilization rate of the display device, but also ensure that light emitted can have a desired polarization state, thus enhancing the display quality of the display device.

Abstract: A sensing method for a counterfeit bill detector includes (i) using multiple image-sensing modules to scan multiple pieces of image information of a bill and converting the multiple pieces of image information into multiple values of digital image, (ii) comparing each value of digital image with a pre-stored image threshold value to generate a reference value, (iii) adding the multiple reference values to generate an image validation value, (iv) comparing the image validation value with a pre-stored validation threshold value to acquire a comparison result, and (v) determining if the multiple pieces of image information are valid according to the comparison result. The sensing method tackles the issue of unsynchronized actions in bill sensing and bill scanning and simultaneously eliminates the problem of distorted scanned bill image arising from entry of misaligned bill to improve accuracy in bill validation.
