Abstract: Acoustic resonator devices and methods are disclosed. An acoustic resonator device includes a substrate having a surface and a single-crystal piezoelectric plate having front and back surfaces. A back-side dielectric layer is formed on the back surface. An etch-stop layer is sandwiched between the surface of the substrate and the back-side dielectric layer. A portion of the piezoelectric plate, the back-side dielectric layer, and the etch-stop layer forms a diaphragm spanning a cavity in the substrate. An interdigital transducer (IDT) is formed on the front surface of the single-crystal piezoelectric plate with interleaved fingers of the IDT disposed on the diaphragm. The etch-stop layer is impervious to an etch process used to form the cavity.

At least one processor, when executing instructions, may perform one or more of the following operations. A first signal representing heart activity of the subject may be received. A second signal representing time-varying information on at least one pulse wave of the subject may be received. A first feature in the first signal may be identified. A second feature in the second signal may be identified. A pulse transit time based on a difference between the first feature and the second feature may be computed. The blood pressure of the subject may be calculated according to a first model based on the computed pulse transit time and a first set of calibration values, the first set of calibration values relating to the subject.

A temperature value for the power converter is ascertained on the basis of a state model of the power converter, wherein the ascertainment is repeated so as to obtain time-related temperature values. A number and a magnitude of temperature swings that have occurred are ascertained from the temperature values, and a remaining service life for the power converter is estimated based on the ascertained number and magnitude. A power converter is configured to carry out the above-described method.

Abstract: Methods and devices for sounding reference signal (SRS) carrier aggregation are provided. A target device is configured with N (N?2) SRSs that include a reference SRS and N?1 target SRS. Lower layer signaling, such as a MAC-CE or a DCI message, is used to activate the N?1 target SRS, such that each of the N SRSs is transmitted on a respective carrier component from a common antenna port. The lower level signaling used to activate the target SRS may identify configuration parameters of the target SRS that are to be overridden by the corresponding configuration parameters of the reference SRS. Embodiments of the present disclosure increase the effective SRS bandwidth, which may improve positioning measurement accuracy, while also reducing the higher-layer configuration signaling by activating target SRS in lower layer signaling and overriding some configuration parameters of the target SRS by the corresponding configuration parameters of the reference SRS.
