Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for identifying food using a multimodal model. A method for identifying food using a multimodal model according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises setting a plurality of food images belonging to different classes as pre-learning targets; pre-learning a multimodal model for each of the plurality of food images set as the pre-learning target so that a text feature paired with an image feature is more similar to the image feature than the other text features not paired with the image feature; and identifying food to be identified from input food images using the pre-learned multimodal model.

Abstract: Lease transfer between master and slave replicas is described. A master replicator determines that an initial master replica lease takes effect. On determining that a master replica transfer needs to be performed, sending a transfer preparation message to a target replicator prior to expiration of a current master replica lease. The target replicator locally starts and calculates a new master replica lease and returns a readiness response to the master replicator. The master replicator sends a lease extension message to remaining slave replicators to extend local corresponding leases. After receiving lease extension success responses of a majority of the slave replicators, the master replicator terminates the local master replica lease of the master replicator in advance, and sends a transfer confirmation message to the target replicator. The target replicator validates the new master replica lease to make the target replicator a new master replicator.

Abstract: Disclosed are a software for analyzing images of a fertilized egg, the software providing a means for executing a process including: (a) a step of measuring the difference in area between the female pronucleus and the male pronucleus from images of a fertilized egg obtained in a period of 1 to 10 hours before the time of occurrence of male and female pronuclear membrane breakdown as a reference; (b) a step of measuring the difference in are between the female pronucleus and the male pronucleus from images of the fertilized egg obtained immediately before the time of occurrence of male and female pronuclear membrane breakdown as the reference; and (c) a step of storing the measured values of the area difference obtained in the step (a) and the area difference obtained in the step (b), to be readable at any time as needed, and an apparatus incorporating this software.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for the non-invasive measurement of glycated hemoglobin, wherein the method includes: irradiating a measurement subject with first to third lights having different wavelength values by means of first to third LED modules positioned on one side of the body of the measurement subject; using a light detection unit positioned corresponding to the first to third LED modules to detect first to third derived lights derived from the first to third lights by passing through the measurement subject; generating first and second ratio equations, respectively, for first and second derived light sets composed of two of the first to third derived lights; and calculating concentrations of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and arterial blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) of the measurement subject by combining the first and second ratio equations.

Abstract: In order to solve the problems of a conventional flat surface wave generator which has limitations on being applied to a curved structure due to more than a certain required thickness of a dielectric material, proposed are a flexible surface wave generator and system and method for surface wave communication using the same where the flexible surface wave generator is bendable by removing a third dielectric material and by making a first and a second dielectric material thin and at the same time reaches communication performance applicable to the ISM band by changing a pattern of a surface wave generation member and by forming a slit in a radiator material, so it is possible to easily establish a surface wave communication system even in environments where a conventional flat surface wave generator is difficult to be applied by being tightly attached to the surface of a metal medium with curvature.
