Abstract: A protective circuit module and a battery pack having the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the protective circuit module includes a printed circuit board, an electronic device mounted on a first surface of the printed circuit board, and a pattern part mounted on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the printed circuit board. The electronic device comprises an integrated circuit chip, and one or more electronic components electrically connected to the integrated circuit chip and at least one of the one or more electronic components is electrically connected to the pattern part.
Abstract: Disclosed is an emulsion binder containing an A-B block copolymer. The A-B block copolymer has a number average molecular weight of 5,000 to 100,000, and a polydispersity index (weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight) of not greater than 1.7. The polymer block A has an acid value of 0 to 30 mgKOH/g and a glass transition point of not higher than 60° C. The polymer block B has an acid value of 75 to 250 mgKOH/g. The A-B block copolymer has been neutralized with an alkaline material, and has been allowed to self-emulsify in an aqueous medium to form emulsion particles having an average particle size of 30 to 300 nm.

Abstract: A method for fabricating a capacitive curved touch panel is provided for solving the problems of the conventional methods, i.e., unsuitableness of the methods for mass production and fabricating large touch panels and touch panels of complicated curved surface shapes. The method includes the steps of (a) preparing a patterned plate 13 by forming an electrode layer having a plurality of electrode regions 15 on a thermoplastic resin plate 11 with an electrically-conductive ink comprised of an electrically-conductive substance and a binder, (b) preparing a soft curved product 21 by heating to soften the patterned plate 13 and shaping the softened patterned plate on a die 22, and (c) cooling or allowing to cool the soft curved product to make the touch panel.
Abstract: A focus position searching method is used to determine an optimum position of a lens module, the lens module being driven by a voice coil motor (VCM), the VCM according to an input current to drive the lens module. The focus position searching method is used to search a left boundary and a right boundary, then two current values are obtained in a range between the left and the right boundaries, by using a golden section method to drive the lens module to capture an image and calculate sharpness of the image. According to the sharpness, the left and the right boundaries are continuously moved rightward and leftward, thereby two differences current values are obtained in the left and right boundaries within a certain range, and a searched current is used to carry out the focus.

Abstract: A light guide plate includes upper microstructures forming an upper surface. Abstract: The present invention provides to an in-plane-switching (IPS) mode liquid crystal panel, which comprises: a first substrate, a second substrate, a coplanar transparent electrode layer and a liquid crystal layer. The first and second substrates have a first alignment film and a second alignment film, respectively. The coplanar transparent electrode layer is disposed onto the second alignment film. The liquid crystal layer is disposed in a space between the first alignment film of the first substrate and the coplanar transparent electrode layer of the second substrate. The liquid crystal layer comprises dual-frequency liquid crystal molecules and dual-frequency reactive mesogens/monomers. The liquid crystal panel of the present invention can overcome the problems of pollution and static electricity generated from the rubbing alignment in the in-plane-switching (IPS) mode, so as to simplify the manufacturing process and provide the advantages of high contrast, high response speed and wide viewing angle.
