Abstract: The present invention provides a method of liquid crystal (LC) alignment and LC panel, which includes: providing first substrate, forming first alignment film on surface of first substrate; providing second substrate, disposed oppositely to first substrate, and forming common electrodes, pixel electrodes disposed with separating space, and second alignment film covering common electrodes and pixel electrodes on surface of second substrate; filling LC composite between first alignment film and second alignment film, LC composite comprising reactive monomers and LC molecules; applying high frequency alternating electric field to common electrodes and pixel electrodes so that reactive monomers and LC molecules arranged perpendicular to high frequency alternating electric field with pretilt angle; continuing applying high frequency alternating electric field and using UV radiation to fix pretilt angle to perform alignment.

The display is structured to prevent a passivation layer from becoming opaque due to a manufacturing haze effect by forming the pixel electrode below a gate insulating layer. It is structured to prevent a drain electrode from being damaged due to an etchant used for patterning the pixel electrode. Further, it is structured to prevent a short circuit between a common voltage line and a gate line while not substantially reducing an aperture ratio by disposing a common voltage contact hole for electrically connecting the common voltage line with a common electrode between vertically extending portions of two gate lines that generally extend horizontally.

Abstract: A liquid crystal panel includes an upper plate, a lower plate, and a liquid crystal layer accommodated between the upper plate and the lower plate. The upper plate includes a front glass substrate, a color filter layer formed on a rear surface of the front glass substrate, and a front polarizing film is attached to a front surface of the front glass substrate. The color filter layer includes a plurality of N color filters and black matrices for separating the color filters from each other. A plurality of patterns for recognizing coordinates are provided on a front side of the upper plate in such a manner that the N color filters correspond to one of the plurality of patterns for recognizing the coordinates, where N is a natural number.

The light emitting device comprises a plurality of semiconductor stacked structures; connectors for electrically connecting the plurality of semiconductor stacked structures to one another; a single wavelength converting layer for covering the plurality of semiconductor stacked structures; an electrode electrically connected to at least one of the semiconductor stacked structures; and at least one additional electrode positioned on the electrode, passing through the wavelength converting layer to be exposed to the outside, and forming a current input terminal to the light emitting device or a current output terminal from the light emitting device. Since the single wavelength converting layer covers the plurality of semiconductor stacked structures, the plurality of semiconductor stacked structures can be integrally mounted on a chip mounting member such as a package or a module.
