    Abstract: A knitting ring can be worn on a knitter's finger and used to hold and tension yarn while the knitter is knitting. The knitting ring includes a finger member that secures the knitting ring to the knitter's finger and a yarn member that tensions one or more strands of yarn. The yarn member can include a number of posts around which the strands of yarn can be routed to create a desired degree of tensioning.
