Abstract: A fishing reel is provided, which includes: a frame having a through hole and a mounting part; a spool rotatably disposed inside of the frame with a fishing line wound thereon; a main shaft inserted into the spool; a brake unit mounted on the spool to put the brake thereon; and a cover unit disposed on the brake unit. The brake unit includes: a retainer having a fixing groove and a plurality of first guide grooves; a brake shoe housing fixed to the retainer and has a plurality of slots, a plurality of second guide grooves, and a plurality of mounting grooves; brake shoes mounted in the plurality of slots so as to be inserted into the slots or withdrawn therefrom; and pivot members mounted in the mounting grooves to press the brake shoes.
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for attaching and detaching a cover of a bait casting reel piezoelectric drive circuit. The apparatus includes a reel main body which is formed with an opening portion on one side, and inside which a spool is rotatably installed; a reel cover which supports the rotation of the spool, and opens and closes the opening portion by horizontally moving from one side of the reel main body so that the spool is separated from the reel main body; and a holder which connects the reel main body with the reel cover, projects from the reel main body to guide an opening and closing path of the reel cover when the opening portion is opened, and is coupled with the reel cover by a magnetic body internally provided to fix a separation position of the reel cover.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a brake system for a fishing reel. The brake system includes a spool cover which is provided between a spool and a left cover, and a brake assembly which is provided between the spool and the spool cover. The spool cover has a cylindrical inner sidewall, a first brake collar which is provided on the inner surface of the sidewall, a circular protrusion which is provided on the central portion of the spool cover, and a second brake collar or one way ring which is provided on the circular protrusion. The brake assembly includes a brake housing, brake shoes, expansion springs, and a housing cover. The brake housing has inner seating depressions and outer seating depressions therein. The brake shoes are inserted into the inner seating depressions. The expansion springs are inserted into the inner seating depressions to elastically support the brake shoes.
