Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for accessing information from a remote site, such as a computer located on a network, are disclosed. The method includes displaying a three-dimensional representation of the information from the remote site in a first area of a display device. The three-dimensional representation of information defines a virtual world populated with one or more objects of interest. The method also includes receiving one or more instructions from an input device for navigating the virtual world displayed in the first area of the display device and for selecting an object in the virtual world. Upon selecting an object in the first area of the display device, the method displays information about the object in a second area of the display device and displays a three-dimensional model of the selected object in a third area of the display device.
