Abstract: Described herein are methods and techniques for the determination of reactive oxygen species in resected animal and human tissues. Also described herein are methods for determining the efficacy of anti-oxidant, oxidative stress modulatory, or anti-inflammatory drug chemoprevention or chemotherapy for the prevention and/or therapy of chronically inflamed and/or progressive cancers and pathophysiologies.
