Abstract: Dialkoxymagnesium granules having spherical or ellipsoidal particle shapes with a mean particle size, represented by D50, in the range of 60-200 ?m, a bulk specific gravity of 0.2-0.7 g/ml, having numerous interior pores with pore sizes of 0.1-5 ?m as observed with a TEM, and having a particle size distribution, represented by (D90?D10)/D50, of no greater than 1. Granular metallic magnesium and an alcohol are added continuously or intermittently in divided portions to a reaction system of the metallic magnesium and alcohol while circulating the alcohol for reaction. Large-sized dialkoxymagnesium granules are obtained with a uniform particle size distribution and containing no fine powder.
Abstract: A light conductive plate used in a side light source type plane illuminating apparatus having a light source arranged on one side portion of a transparent light conductive plate, has a dimming pattern composed of a plurality of curves provided on the back of said light conductive plate. Portions of each of the curves of the dimming pattern located nearer the edge near a light source extend substantially perpendicular to the edge and portions of each of the curves of the dimming pattern located farther from the edge near a light source extend substantially parallel to the edge.
Abstract: A removal of static electricity from a conductive coating can be used in an electrostatic coating system. A conductive liquid is atomized or formed into droplets and supplied to an electric insulating vessel. A supply port is thereby insulated from a stored liquid surface by making use of electric insulation characteristics of air. The liquid is atomized and ionized while applying a high voltage to the liquid storage system, and sprayed onto a charged article to discharge it.
Abstract: There is provided a coating material which can be used on the surfaces of various base materials and can form a non-glare coating film having excellent antistatic properties and surface hardness and having no glare. The coating composition comprising a mixed aqueous-dispersion sol, the coating composition comprising(i) an aqueous-dispersion type sol of an electroconductive oxide(s) of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of tin, antimony and indium, and(ii) an aqueous silica sol prepared by dispersing or hydrolyzing lithium silicate and/or alkyl silicate in water solvent.
