    Abstract: An apparatus for cooling a glove compartment in a motor vehicle is described, in which a Peltier element serves as a cooling unit for cooling the interior of a glove compartment. The latter contains a flexible bag, which is made from a material with a very low thermal conductivity and surrounds the cooling space within the glove compartment.
