Abstract: A package (1000) for containing a fluidic product. In one embodiment of the invention, the package comprises a first laminate sheet (200) and a second laminate sheet (300) thermoformed together to form a unitary body (100). The unitary body (100) has a product containing portion (110) having a product cavity containing a fluidic product, a nozzle portion (120) for dispensing the fluidic product from the product cavity, and a break-off cap (130) sealing a dispensing orifice of the nozzle portion (120). Each of the first and second laminate sheets (200, 300) includes a layer of polyethylene (PE) and a layer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The layer of PE has a first thickness and the layer of PET has a second thickness, the second thickness being less than or equal to the first thickness.

Abstract: Oral care compositions comprising isobutyl magnolol and n-butyl magnolol. A method of enhancing the solubility of isobutyl magnolol in an oral care composition comprises admixing n-butyl magnolol with an orally acceptable carrier comprising isobutyl magnolol. Abstract: An aqueous cleaning composition comprising a surfactant, a polyamine, and propylene glycol. The combination of the polyamine and propylene glycol will provide low residue and increased shine during wet and dry wiping and will provide anti-fog properties to a substrate after cleaning. The use of either the polyamine alone or the propylene glycol alone will not provide results meeting all three tests.
Abstract: A method of detecting stannous ions that includes providing a zincon-containing indicator having a color, contacting the indicator with a sample, and detecting any resulting change in the color of the indicator, wherein a change in the color of the indicator from the color to colorless indicates that stannous ions are present in the sample. The method is useful for the analysis of oral care compositions. Also provided is the use of zinc on as an indicator for detecting stannous ions.
Abstract: Use of benzyl alcohol as a defoaming agent and an antimicrobial agent in an oral care composition including a surfactant. Also described is a method of manufacturing an oral care composition including forming an oral care base composition, subsequently combining the oral care base composition with a defoaming agent and at least one surfactant to form the oral care composition; and defoaming the oral care composition. Abstract: The invention primarily is directed to an orienting holder for a container that is being filled with a product on a container filling line. The container holder (10) has at least two rollers (18) and a base portion (12). The rollers are made of an elastic material which can be an elastomer inclusive of polymeric foams. The rollers are on arms (15, 16) that project above the base portion and usually will contact the container (30) at an upper part of the container. The arms which support the rollers can pivot. The elastic material of the rollers provide for a positive gripping of the container on the filling line, including a positive grip onto containers which may be partially out of the specified tolerances. The compressibility of the elastic material of the rollers can be enhanced through forming channels (27) in the roller structure.
Abstract: A dental tray with a hydrophobic tooth whitening formulation where the tooth whitening formulation is substantially non-water soluble, and a method of using this dental tray to whiten the teeth. The tooth whitening formulation is primarily comprised of a hydrophobic polymer and a peroxide or a peroxide yielding compound. Preferably the hydrophobic polymer is the condensation product of a silicone resin and an organosiloxane. The dental tray is formed to encompass the front and the rear surfaces of the teeth. The dental tray is comprised of a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer. The teeth whitening formulation is placed into the dental tray and the tray placed against the teeth to be whitened. This is for a sufficient period of time to at least partially whiten teeth. This can be a period of time from about 0.5 hour to 2 hours or more.
