Abstract: The invention relates to an obturation device (1) for blocking an apical foramen of a root canal of a tooth by means of an obturation plugging mass. The obturation device (1) has a carrier (5), wherein the obturation plugging mass is arranged in slidingly displaceable manner, and has an applicator (6), by means of which the obturation plug (4) comprising obturation plugging mass is applied in the apical foramen. The applicator (6) has a housing (7) with a pushing mechanism (8), which mechanism is arranged to be brought into engagement with the carrier (5) and pushes the obturation plugging mass from the carrier (5) into the apical foramen.
Abstract: The invention relates to a retraction thread, especially a dental retraction thread for use in dentistry, that is distinguished by the fact that it has yarns produced by an air vortex process.

Abstract: The present invention is concerned with a gutta-percha point for filling a tooth root canal system, which is characterized in that it has a plurality of deformable protrusions formed on a longitudinal surface where the protrusions are constructed in the form of helical winding and have a thickness appropriate to achieve a desired thickness of the sealer.
Abstract: The invention relates to a delivery system for fluid substances, which comprises a plunger-type syringe in the form of a cartridge having at least one injectate chamber, which injectate chamber is provided with an injection plunger, and an attachment mounted on the cartridge at its delivery-side end, characterised in that the attachment is mounted on the cartridge by means of a releasable snap closure.
Abstract: Compression cap for tooth stumps and method of drying a tooth stump The present invention relates to a compression cap (1) for tooth stumps (5) and to a method of drying a tooth stump (5). The compression cap (1) for tooth stumps (5) has a hollow space (7) for receiving an absorbent foam mass (8) surrounding a tooth stump (5). The hollow space (7) has an opening (9) at one end for receiving the reagents (10, 11) for the foam mass (8) and for receiving the tooth stump (5) and is surrounded by walls whose wall thickness (d) is reduced in the direction towards the opening (9). The rim (14) at the opening has a spatial profile (15) of such a kind that the rim (14) at the opening constitutes a seal (16) when the compression cap (1 ) is in the state pressed against the interdental papilla (17) of a tooth stump (5) in the region of the gingival pocket (18) for the sulcus (19).
