    Abstract: A post holder for holding a safety post on a horizontal structure of a building is provided. The post holder has an elongate post reception portion an elongate central support portion, protruding from the post reception portion and perpendicular to the post reception portion, and first and second elongate side support portions protruding from the post reception portion laterally of the central support portion and in opposite directions. The central support portion comprises a fastening seat, which is arranged to receive a fastening member for fastening of the post holder to a base. Each one of said support portions comprises a support protrusion, which constitutes a fraction of the support portion at a bottom side thereof and protrudes at a bottom side thereof, thereby forming a lower most support surface of the support portion. The lower most support surfaces of the support portions are triangularly positioned.

    Abstract: A safety post mountable in a post holder includes an elongate tubular member and a locking device arranged inside of the tubular member. The locking device includes a lever and a bias spring device biasing the lever against an inner surface of the wall of the tubular member. The lever has a lock protrusion and a release protrusion extending through a first and second aperture portions of the wall, respectively. The lock protrusion is retractable to a release position inside of an outer surface of the tubular member by operation of the release protrusion in a counter biasing direction. The release protrusion has a support surface arranged to support the safety post against a support surface of the post holder, and the release protrusion is related to the lock protrusion such that, in the release position, the release protrusion is still protruding from said outer surface to an extent.

The post coupler is movable along the post when mounted thereon, and has a locking member for releasably locking the post coupler in a holding position at the post. The temporary safety system is arranged to enable inclination of a mesh panel during said height adjustment, thereby facilitating the height adjustment while the mesh panels remain mounted.

It comprises a short leg (12) and a long leg (14), forming a 90.degree. angle with each other. An angle flange (16) on the leg (12) is bent 90.degree. and the outer edge of the leg (14) is bent over approximately 105.degree.. A wedge (23) and a hook (29) with a lip (31) are disposed in a slot in the leg (14). The distal end of the leg (14) thereby acts as a pressure spring (18) for resilient pressing of the wedge against the hook, which in turn is brought into engagement with the lip (31) under the lateral edge of the beam.
