    Abstract: A portable dock is shown having a deck with a portion providing a support platform for a boat lift. A boat lift is pivotally connected to the platform so that the boat lift can be pivoted from a position adjacent the dock to an inverted position on and supported by the platform. A hoist guide is mounted above the deck and connected to the boat lift so that the boat lift can be lifted up, pivoted over center and released to rest in an inverted position on the support platform.
