Abstract: There is disclosed a wall rail system for removeably supporting modular units in an environment where it is especially useful to be both mobile and aesthetically pleasing. The wall rail retains a color-coordinated protective insert panel which may be replaced from time to time in accordance with decorative requirements. A slot key is provided for attachment to the back of each modular unit, which rests securely on the J-shaped lower extension of the wall rail, and each modular unit also bears a standoff on its back below the slot key and wall rail to maintain a level orientation. This system provides modular unit support which resists typical accidental shocks yet allows easy removal by hand.

Abstract: A moveable cart for transporting structures which are adapted for mounting upon a wall rail. The cart is constructed with a roller linkage assembly pivotally mounted to a wheeled frame and a deck mounted on the linkage assembly. The deck is engaged by the rollers of the linkage assembly so that the vertical position of the deck can be moved with regard to the wall rail, allowing a modular cell structure placed on the deck to be carried upward or downward. A rack driven gear locking assembly is rotatably mounted to the deck. The gear locking assembly is engaged by a rack assembly which is driven by the roller linkage assembly so that it rotates against the sides of the structure to hold the structure in a fixed position during the transportation and vertical positioning of the deck.

Abstract: A wall bracket system is disclosed which is supported on a vertical wall by a single horizontally extending wall rail. The bracket system comprises a bracket, key member and spacer member. The bracket is provided with a vertically adjustable key member which attaches to the rear surface of the bracket and supports the same by being held in a channel of the wall rail. A vertically adjustable spacer member is also provided which serves to space the lower portion of the bracket from the vertical wall. Additionally, a support member is provided which slides over and is held secure by a plurality of upwardly extending screw heads. This support member is secured to the underside of a shelf or other item to be supported by the bracket and after sliding over the protruding screw heads provides an anti-lateral displacement mechanism.

Abstract: A drawer extender assembly comprising a pair of cabinet rails which are removably secured to the internal walls of a cabinet structure. The cabinet rails are provided with a floating rail guide positioned toward the front of the cabinet rail on which a floating rail member slides. Each floating rail member comprises an integral member defining two C-shaped channels having a common back for at least a portion of their height.

Abstract: A security apparatus for a chest of drawers comprising a pair of insert guides, each of the insert guides comprising a planar contact surface capable of being secured to the interior side walls of the chest of drawers, the insert guides extending horizontally and defining horizontally extending grooves. A security panel being slidably received within the grooves and the insert guides have a security panel retention assembly adapted to selectively secure the security panel in a fixed position. Each individual drawer is provided with a suitable locking mechanism, which precludes all individuals other than the individual with the key to the locking mechanism from removing the security panel and having access to the contents contained within the drawer.

Abstract: A wall rail is secured to a vertical wall by conventional fastening means. The rail facilitates the hanging of cabinets or modular cell units. The wall rail includes a channel which is closed off from the room environment. The channel facilitates the passage of electrical wires, and other life supporting conduits, around the perimeter of the room without the wires or conduits being unsightly or unnecessarily contaminated.

Abstract: A storage unit is comprised of two side walls, a rear wall, top and bottom wall and a front opening. The interior of the storage unit defines a storage cavity which is adapted to receive sliding drawers, trays or shelves. The interior of the side wall of the storage cavity defines a plurality of integrally molded support and stability arms. The drawers, trays or shelves slide between pairs of arms and are prevented from unintentional withdrawal by abutment stops. A trackway is provided in the interior which allows a Tambour door to close off the frontal opening and a drop front door is also disclosed to seal off the unit from outside contamination. Base units and transportation apparatus are also provided as attachments to the unit.

Abstract: This invention relates to an undercounter support device and more specifically relates to a drawer support which can be conveniently removably located beneath a table top or horizontal work surface. Once the undercounter support is located beneath the horizontal surface a drawer or tray can be utilized in a convenient manner. When the undercounter support and accompanying drawer or tray is desired to be removed, a convenient apparatus is provided for this operation.

Abstract: A system for mounting storage units to a wall comprising a wall rail defining a U-shaped channel and a mounting key. The mounting key is formed of two legs, the first leg being securely held within the wall rail channel and the second leg slidably engageable with upwardly extending horizontal slots located in the rear of a storage unit. Additionally, a leveling key may be used to keep the storage unit in a level condition.

Abstract: A pull tray is disclosed comprising a planar support surface for a plurality of articles. The pull tray is easily converted into a drawer with front handle by means of a removeable handle. The pull tray is provided with a pair of shoulders which are adapted to provide sliding surfaces for a pair of channels defined by the handle. Additionally, the pull tray is provided with a resilient retention means which serves to selectively allow the handle to be secured and removed from the pull tray.
