Abstract: An article having complex geometrical shape is obtained by consecutively coinjection molding a first and a second material substantially without stopping time between the two injections. Pressure, temperature and mass flow rate are controlled to obtain a homogeneous distribution of the several flows of injected material and to have them meet in a fluid condition and melt together at the meeting point.
Abstract: Trim panels for motorvehicles are manufactured by: injection molding a panel base portion having missing parts of predetermined area and shape, said molding involving the coinjection of a surface material and of an inner core material; separately producing a plurality of portions of panel having area and shape substantially corresponding to the missing parts and fastening said separately produced portions to said panels.
Abstract: A device for the controlled rotation of the cover of a door mirror in a motor vehicle comprises a DC fed electric motor to allow the motorized rotation of the cover and an electronic circuit enabling the electric motor. A plurality of feed tracks and a plurality of sliding contacts thereon selectively cut out or enable the connections to one or more sections of the circuit in correspondence with positions of the mirror cover different from the preset positions. The transmission of the rotational movement from the motor to the cover is ensured by a train of gears in which one or more friction elements are inserted.Elastic means are also foreseen for retaining and positioning the cover in respect to the fixed base, to exert, together with said friction elements, different forces of reaction that oppose the relative movement between the cover and the fixed base of the door mirror.
Abstract: A device for the adjustment of the orientation of door mirrors in motor vehicles is provided with electric motors to drive, through two reduction units, a support of the door mirror. A first reduction unit comprises a worm screw and a gear wheel integral to a second worm screw of the second reduction unit. A rack, coupled with the second worm screw, is engaged on a pivot integral to the support. A couple of tabs makes easier the assembling of rack and avoids its possible disengagement from the pivot.Furthermore, the pecular configuration of the motors and of the electric connections of same with an external power supply avoids the need of welding to perform connection during the device assembling.
Abstract: In a device for the controlled rotation of a door mirror between an operative position and a rest position, comprising elastic means to retain and position the mirror on a fixed base as well as at least an electric motor actuating the rotation of the movable portion of said door mirror, means are provided to detect the operative position only of said mirror and consequently enable the operation of said electric motor.
Abstract: A process for the production of shaped lined panels, of the type wherein the lining is positioned on a frame including a series of reference and adjusting pivots capable of being reversibly engaged by a pluality of corresponding reference holes provided on the lining. The process positions the pivots on the frame according to an arrangement which is a function of the arrangement of said plurality of holes in the covering and the shaped and correctly lined panel.
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of panels, wherein a superficial covering including at least one fabric portion is surrounded by an adjacent portion of plastic material, wherein the covering is coupled by molding to a plate of heated thermoplastic material, simultaneously with the shaping of the plate. The process brings a considerable area of the fabric portion into contact with the heated plate before coupling of the whole covering by utilizing at least one pressing element such as a dandy roll, or similar movable piece of the die, positioned in correspondence with the corresponding fabric portion.
