  • Patent number: 9222959
Abstract: The invention relates to a nanofiber fabrication method comprising nanofiber growth from a catalyst zone, furthermore comprising the following steps: producing at least one micropattern (11) on the surface of a substrate (1); producing a catalyst zone (50) on the surface of said micropattern; nanofiber growth from the catalyst zone, characterized in that the micropattern (11) comprises a base, at least partially convergent side walls and an upper face, said base being covered with a so-called “poison” layer (4) where no nanofiber growth catalysis effect can take place, the so-called “poison” layer not being present on said upper face; the base being covered with a catalyst layer (5) on the surface of the so-called “poison” layer; the thickness of the “poison” layer and the thickness of the catalyst layer being such that the nanofibers cannot grow either on the side walls or on the base of the micropatterns constructed beforehand.

  • Patent number: 9129345
Abstract: An architecture for processing a data stream forming matrices of pixels of dimension Nl×Nc. The processing architecture includes processing units and interconnection means making it possible to transfer the data stream between them. Each processing unit includes a control unit, neighborhood processors capable of carrying out the instructions from the control unit and a neighborhood storage unit enabling each neighborhood processor to access a neighborhood of dimension Vl×Vc. The invention makes it possible to extend the dimension of the neighborhoods accessible to the neighborhood processors by a coupling of two or more processing units. To this end, the architecture includes a storage manager enabling the neighborhood processors of the coupled processing units to access adjoining neighborhoods of pixels, and means for communication between neighborhood processors allowing for an exchange of data relating to the different neighborhoods.

  • Publication number: 20110305975
Abstract: A catalytic particulate solution is provided for a micro fuel cell. The solution includes a suspension of catalytic nanoparticles in a solvent and a polymerizable oligomer. Also presented is a method for depositing such a catalytic particulate solution that includes a step of depositing the particulate solution onto a substrate, during which the oligomer polymerization is primed, for example, using UV lighting.

  • Patent number: 6989372
Abstract: The invention concerns compounds of general formula (I) (wherein R and R? represent an alkyl radical or an aryl group and R? is hydrogen or a CO—R1 group wherein R1 is an alkyl radical or an aryl group; and the dimers formed by the disulphide bond from one and/or the other of the two sulphur atoms of the compounds of general formula (I); and the corresponding thiazolidin forms), the methods for preparing them and uses thereof. More particularly, it concerns the use of said compounds as antioxidant agents, in particular for preparing medicines designed to increase the intracellular and/or extracellular level of glutathione (GSH).

  • Patent number: 6959863
Abstract: The invention concerns a process of selective transfer of labels from an initial support to a final support, each label including at least one element constituent of a microelectronic and/or optoelectronic and/or acoustic and/or mechanical device, with the elements made in a surface layer of the initial support, and the process including the following stages: a) Fixing a transfer support on the surface layer of the initial support; b) Eliminating the part of the initial support that does not correspond to the surface layer; c) Laterally defining the labels by cutting according to the thickness of the surface layer, with the cutting leaving zones to be broken off; d) Grasping one or several labels to be transferred and tearing them off by means of energy intake in the corresponding zones that can be broken off; e) Transfer and fixing the label or set of labels torn off in stage d) on the final support.
