Abstract: A system for ESC protection includes a spectrum access system (SAS) configured to allocate a frequency band in the system and at least one Citizens Broadband Radio Service device (CBSD) communicatively coupled to the SAS and configured to provide wireless service to UEs. The system also includes at least one ESC communicatively coupled to the SAS and configured to detect RADAR signals from offshore RADAR devices. The SAS is configured to assign grants to the at least one CBSD such that the aggregate signal energy received at the ESC does not cross an overload threshold, as calculated by the SAS. The ESC is configured to detect an aggregate signal energy received at the ESC, and trigger, in response to the aggregate signal energy exceeding the overload threshold, an operation that suspends transmission of at least one CBSD or moves at least one CBSD to a different frequency channel.

Abstract: Systems and methods for network port monitoring using low energy wireless communications are provided. In one embodiment, a device comprises: at least one port module, the at least one port module comprising one or more connector ports each configured to receive a connector of a network data cable; and a port state sensor that includes a port sensing circuit coupled to a sensor controller, wherein the port sensing circuit is configured to sense a port state for the one or more connector ports; wherein the sensor controller is configured to input the port state from the port sensing circuit, wherein in response to detecting a change in the port state from the port sensing circuit, the sensor controller wirelessly transmits port state information to a port state monitor.

Abstract: One embodiment is directed to a distributed antenna system (DAS) for use with one or more base stations. The DAS comprises a plurality of remote antenna units, one or more donor units, and one or more transport units. The DAS is configured to communicatively couple each donor unit to at least one of the transport units and to communicatively couple each transport unit to at least one of the donor units. The DAS is configured so that all active downlink digital processing for producing the downlink transport signals transmitted from the transport units to the remote antenna units is performed by the donor units and the transport units. The DAS is configured so that all active uplink digital processing of the uplink transport signals received by the transport units from the remote antenna units is performed by the donor units and the transport units.

Abstract: An aerial cable support system includes a first cable holder with a first tubular member and a second tubular member attached thereto. First and second elongated links are attached within first and second opposed openings of the first tubular member. A messenger wire is inserted through a sidewall of the second tubular member. Abstract: A radiator assembly for a base station antenna has a longitudinal central axis and two dipoles cross-arranged around the longitudinal central axis. Each dipole has two dipole arms and each dipole arm is equipped with a hook-like feeder made of a metal sheet and having a free end portion. Abstract: A passive optical network includes a central office providing subscriber signals; a fiber distribution hub including an optical power splitter and a termination field; and a drop terminal.
