Abstract: A connector (1) comprising a least a housing (10) with a least one aperture (12), at least two terminals each being inserted into one of the aperture (12) and at least one locking device (30) for insertion into an opening (11) of the housing (10) for locking at least one of the terminals in an aperture (12), permits an easy control of the connection of the terminals, if the locking device (30) comprises at least two contact pads (36), each contact pad connecting one of the at least two terminals (50), and if the locking device (30) supports a signaling circuit, being connected to the contact pads (36).

Abstract: The inventive system for automatically connecting the main electric circuit of a vehicle to the auxiliary circuit of a subset like a seat comprises an auxiliary contact carrier (5) fixed to said subset and a main contact carrier (4) which is movable along a structural element. Said main contact carrier (4) is oscillatingly mounted on the support (1) of a structural element in such a way that it is supported by a spring (6) and is provided with protruding members for guiding the auxiliary contact carrier (5) during a connecting movement.

The threadless chambers allow immersion of one of the thread segments into one of the threadless chambers for providing a self-locking effect.

Abstract: A device for relieving mechanical tension of an electric cable includes two symmetrical, elastically flexible clamping members that extend in a transverse direction relative to a tension direction of the cable. The clamping members are inclined opposite to the tension direction of the cable, slotted similar to a comb, and symmetrically oppose one another.

Abstract: An electrical connector including a support member having a socket or opening to receive a contact member including facing and contacting male and female elements. At least one of the male and female elements comprises a head and integral corrugated resilient tab portion which urges the head into contact with the contact member. The contact member and one of the male and female elements includes a body portion integral with the tab portion forming a hollow tubular guide for the head portion, and a connecting portion remote from the head portion, for connection to an electrical conductor.

Abstract: A connector has juxtaposed modular blocks bearing either sockets or pins. The modules are removably mounted, side-by-side, in adjoining recesses of a generally flat, rectangular housing. The adjoining recesses are provided with a number of notches which are initially closed off during manfacturing. The insertable modules are provided with one or more protruding tabs which cooperatively fit into the corresponding notches in the housing, provided that the notches have been selectively opened in order to receive the tabs of the particular module. Furthermore, the mating connector portions may similarly be provided with corresponding tabs and notches, the latter being initially closed during manufacture and later selectively opened to receive a particular connector having certain tabs thereon.

Abstract: A push -- pull connector including a sleeve lockable to a spigot by locking balls controlled by a sliding member mounted on the sleeve, wherein the sliding member has a stable locked position and a stable unlocked position, with no intermediate stable position. The stable positions are determined by a resilient ring mounted in a groove on the sleeve and not by any spring action on the balls. The arrangement may be such that the force necessary to move the sliding member from unlocked to locked position is just greater than the force necessary to effect full engagement of the spigot and the sleeve.
