Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel structure in which each of two insertion strips has a fixing face and sliding face. The sliding face is slidably fitted with an insertion section of a casing. After a liquid crystal display face fixed with the insertion strips is placed into the casing, the sliding faces of the insertion strips coincide with the insertion sections. After the display face is slid toward one end of the casing, the sliding faces are inserted into clearances defined by the insertion sections. The insertion sections of the casing further include at feast one locating post. The insertion strip is formed with a locating hole corresponding to the locating post, whereby the display face can be more easily and quickly assembled to the casing.
Abstract: A lower housing part of an electronic appliance has a side wall extending upwardly from a base wall and formed with a connector mounting opening having a first vertical edge adjacent to a perforated sound port and an opposite second vertical edge. A barrier wall extends upwardly from the base wall, and has a first barrier portion that extends from the second vertical edge of the connector mounting opening, and a second barrier portion parallel to the side wall and registered with the connector mounting opening. The base wall, side wall and barrier wall cooperatively form a connector receiving space thereamong. A loudspeaker unit includes a loudspeaker mechanism mounted in a loudspeaker enclosure that is disposed in the lower housing part adjacent to the side wall such that the loudspeaker mechanism is registered with the sound port.
Abstract: An interface device includes a base, a lift mechanism, and a linkage mechanism. The base has a front end, a rear end, left and right sides between the front and rear ends, a top face adapted for placement of a portable computer thereon, a bottom face, and a connector housing. The connector housing is formed at the rear end of the base, and has an upright front wall extending upwardly from the top face of the base. A connector is mounted on the front wall of the connector housing at a predetermined height relative to the top face, and is adapted for engaging a mating connector of the portable computer. The lift mechanism is mounted on the base and is adapted for moving the portable computer upwardly and downwardly relative to the top face of the base so that the mating connector of the portable computer can register with and engage the connector on the base. The linkage mechanism is mounted on the base, and is connected operatively to the lift mechanism in order to actuate the lift mechanism.
