Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes an input device and an illumination device. The illumination device includes a chassis, an illumination module and a positioning mechanism. The module is pivotally connected to the chassis to be rotatable between a closed and an open position. The positioning mechanism is use for respectively positioning the illumination module in the closed and the open position. An operating method of the illumination device includes the following steps. First, a push force is applied to the module in the closed position. Then the module rotates from the closed position to the open position. The module enters a light-on state as arrived in the open position for illuminating the input device. Next, another push force is applied to the module in the open position, so that the module rotates to the closed position. The module enters a light-off state as arrived in the closed position.

Abstract: A latching structure of a mobile electronic device includes a button module, at least one lock pin, at least one linking rod, and at least one hook module respectively disposed in a base and a display of the mobile electronic device. One end of the linking rod is coupled to the button module and another end of the linking rod is coupled to the hook module. When the button module is pressed, the button module drives the linking rod to force the hook module to release the lock pin so as to allow the user opening the display from the base of the mobile electronic device.

Abstract: A locking base for Anti-theft lock includes a socket, a locking member and two sliding portions. The socket is disposed in a main body and extends a portion out of the main body. The locking member has a locking hole, and the locking member can extend out of the portion of the socket. The two sliding portions are disposed on the socket and the locking member respectively. The two sliding portions are matched structurally to make the socket and locking member slide correspondingly.

The card edge connector is disposed on the baseboard to be inserted by an edge of an expansion card substantially in parallel with the baseboard. The support bracket includes a bottom wall, two lateral walls and two fastening members. The bottom wall is in contact with the baseboard. Two lateral walls extends upright from the bottom wall. Two fastening members are respectively disposed on a top edge of each lateral wall, wherein the bottom wall is selectively located at one of multiple positions on the baseboard such that an opposite edge of the expansion card is secured by the two fastening members.
Abstract: A fan assembly for use in an electronic device is provided. The fan assembly includes a housing, a fan, a throttle valve, and a regulator. The housing has an outlet. The fan is disposed in the housing and adapted to provide an air current. The air current generates an air volume through the outlet. The throttle valve is movably disposed in the housing at the outlet. The regulator is connected to the throttle valve to control the movement of the throttle valve to adjust the size of the outlet.

Abstract: A detachable element positioning structure disposed at a side of a slot for positioning a detachable element in the slot is disclosed. The detachable element positioning structure includes a first elastic arm and a second elastic arm connected to the slot. The first elastic arm touches a top surface of the detachable element. The second elastic arm connects to the slot and has a protrusion. The detachable element has a side notch, and the protrusion is coupled to the side notch.
Abstract: A system and a method for power control are provided. In the present invention, a control switch is disposed in a power adapter, which is turned on/off by a monitoring device disposed in a portable electronic device. As a result, the power inputted into the power adapter can be controlled, and thus the power consumption during the portable electronic being shut down is reduced. In addition, the present invention controls the power providing for a battery according to a detected power on/off signal and the electric quantity of the battery. The control switch is turned off to stop the power adapter from providing power when the electric quantity of the battery reaches a reference value. Therefore, the overheating situation of the portable electronic device or the battery that may shorten their service life because of continuing receiving power can be avoided.
Abstract: A power receptacle for a portable electronic device suitable for connecting a power plug is provided. The power plug has a tubular terminal and a clamping terminal in the tubular terminal. The power receptacle includes an insulating housing, an anode terminal, and a cathode terminal. The insulating housing has a receiving cavity, and the power plug is suitable for being plug in the receiving cavity. The anode terminal disposed in the insulating housing is located at the central part of the receiving cavity. The cathode terminal disposed in the insulating housing is located at a side of the receiving cavity. During a process of plugging the power plug into the receiving cavity, the tubular terminal contacts the cathode terminal, and then the clamping terminal contacts the anode terminal, so that the power plug is electrically connected to the power receptacle.
Abstract: An intermittently outputted power supply system is disclosed. The system comprises: a power input unit, a charging control circuit unit, an energy-storing unit, a discharging control circuit unit, and a power output unit. The charging control circuit unit receives a first power input through the power input unit, and charges the energy-storing unit continuously. Thus, the capacity of the energy-storing unit increases. The discharging control circuit unit converts the energy stored in the energy-storing unit into a second power and transmitted to the power output unit in such a manner of discharging intermittently, to charge the electric device being connect with the power output unit.
Abstract: A method for determining the orientation of Chinese words is provided. The amount of dark pixels in each column of a Chinese word image is calculated. Then, a first point, a second point, and a third point are determined. The first point and the second point correspond to the columns with the largest and the second largest amount of dark pixels, respectively. The third point is located between the first point and the second point. The Chinese word is right-side up if the third point is located on the left side of the Chinese word. The Chinese word is upside down if the third point is located on the right side of the Chinese word.

Abstract: A method for charging a battery module including a plurality of parallelly-connected battery cell sets in multiple stages is provided. In the present invention, a constant current charging is applied for charging the battery module in an initial stage of charging through the method of voltage control or current control. Then, the charging current is lowered substantially to reduce the charging speed when the voltage of one of the battery cell sets exceeds a safety value or a total voltage of the battery module itself reaches a rated voltage. Accordingly, a safety problem of the battery can be avoided and battery life can be prolonged.

The system includes at least one label of a searchable and classifiable format, a database accessible by the electronic device, and a searching and classifying engine. The method includes the steps of activating a document, determining a labeling location and a labeling size within the document, placing the label at the labeling location to record a document description, and saving the label and a part of the document in the database.
