Patent number: 12591167Abstract: A compact and electrically grounded enclosure facilitates locating a board stack assembly camera inside and can be rated IP67 or higher. The enclosure has connectors integrated ended in the back bezel of the enclosure and a front lens mount that allows for the direct assembly of interchangeable lens covers. The purpose of the enclosure is to take an existing board stack and locate it within the enclosure thereby forming a camera assembly. The enclosure and its packaging have improved interchangeability of the lens covers and back pieces, as well as heat transfer. Methods for assembling and mounting the board stack within the enclosure and securing the enclosure are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2024Date of Patent: March 31, 2026Assignee: Components Express, LLCInventors: John Berst, Art Didyk, Nick DeFrancesco

Publication number: 20260061566Abstract: A clamp mount for clamping directly to T-slot tubing is disclosed. The clamp mount has a sizing surface suitable for assisting an installer to select a specific size of T-slot tubing. The clamp mount also has a mounting surface configurable by the purchaser to be suitable for a variety of pre-existing mounts. attached to or clamped to or mounted to T-slot tubing. During installation, the sizing surface can be used first, when someone is first attaching the clamp mount to the T-slot tubing. After that sizing is set, the user will typically only then attach the mount to the mounting surface. However, this could also be done in the reverse order.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2024Publication date: March 5, 2026Applicant: Components Express, LLCInventors: Nick DeFrancesco, Bryan Pukowski

Patent number: 12145228Abstract: A mount system and method of manufacture for e.g. a machine vision camera is disclosed. The mount system comprises a rectangular base, a lower clamp disc, an upper clamp disc, a tilting plate, an expansion clamp, and an O-ring. The expansion clamp comprises a tapered head screw and an expandable mandrel, both typically made of stainless steel. The mount system facilitates improved machine vision by enabling effective mounting of machine vision cameras in smaller spaces and/or spaces requiring unusual angles and intricate positioning. The mount system is also advantageous in inhospitable environments having harsh environmental factors. The mount system is also easier for machine vision personnel to learn and understand.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2022Date of Patent: November 19, 2024Assignee: Components Express, LLCInventors: John Berst, Art Didyk, Nick DeFrancesco, Rick Ragnini

Publication number: 20040036619Abstract: An alarm monitoring and electrical interface panel provides DC power to plural devices in a system as well as power and analog and/or discrete alarms to a system alarm controller in monitoring power provided to the devices within the system. The analog alarms include a first LED which turns off when input power to the electrical interface panel is lost and a second LED which turns off when output power to the device being controlled is lost such as due to a failure of the electrical interface panel. Also included is an overcurrent protection feature which limits the current provided to a powered device as well as the current provided to the system alarm controller. In the discrete alarm approach, a DC current is applied to the alarm signal for powering a device being controlled in the system. If power is lost, a third LED is turned off providing a visual indication of power failure.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2002Publication date: February 26, 2004Applicant: COMPONENTS EXPRESS, LLCInventors: John Ray Berst, Artur Didyk
