  • Patent number: 11719344
Abstract: A tangentially cut rod packing ring is provided. The tangentially cut rod packing ring comprises a first ring formed from a plurality of segments. Each of the segments has a portion of two interfaces where each interface slidably engages an interface of an adjacent segment. One interface terminates at a leading surface. One interface has a stop surface. The leading surface is originally separated from the stop surface by a gap. As the interfaces slidably move, the gap lessens until the leading surface abuts the stop surface. The tangentially cut rod packing ring also comprises a second ring formed from a plurality of segments. The second ring has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion forms as shelf on which the first ring sits. The second portion surrounds the first ring. An elastic member in a groove on the outer surface of the second portion provides a compressive force on both the second ring and the first ring.

  • Patent number: 10876685
Abstract: A lubricator pump adjuster for use with a lubricator pump having a piston housed in a pump body and a rocker connected to the piston. The lubricator pump adjuster comprises a mounting fitting attachable to the pump body and a housing disposed on the mounting fitting. An actuator is disposed in the housing and connectable to the rocker, whereby activation of the actuator causes the rocker to move, thereby adjusting the stroke of the piston. The actuator is a rotary actuator with an output shaft. The lubricator pump adjuster includes a cam faced member attached to the output shaft, and a plunger in contact with the cam faced member that is connectable to the rocker. The cam faced member may include a spiral-ramped surface.

  • Patent number: 10208868
Abstract: The invention is a divider block assembly suitable for use at high fluid pressures. Applicant has found that a sufficiently deep counterbored hole allows a mounting bolt to apply the sealing pressure well below the divider block surface, which can reduce or eliminate the compressive force on the metal around the piston bore, thereby reducing or eliminating distortion of the piston bore of the divider block and providing.

  • Patent number: 9938969
Abstract: A device and method are described for extending the life of check valves. An improved check valve having a double poppet and tapered guides is more robust, and a check valve protection device between the check valve and the environment into which fluid is injected protects the valve from a contaminating or corrosive environment. The check valve and check valve protection device are small and light weight to prevent vibration-induced failures. The check valve protection device preferably has an interior volume that fills quickly by relatively few cycles of the lubricant pump to reduce delay of lubricant to the injection point.

  • Patent number: 9709219
Abstract: A compressor lubrication system including a positive displacement pump, a pressure relief valve assembly, and a divider block. The pressure relief valve assembly includes a housing that has an opening to the fluid distribution system and a relief passage. A conduit is connected from the relief passage to a fluid reservoir. The assembly also includes a pressure relief valve that has an open position in which fluid from the fluid distribution system can enter the relief passage, and a closed position in which fluid is prevented from entering the relief passage. A biasing element maintains a biasing force on the pressure relief valve. The pressure relief valve is maintained in the closed position when the biasing force exceeds the fluid force on the pressure relief valve and the pressure relief valve moves into the open position when the fluid force exceeds the biasing force.
