    Abstract: An apparatus for applying a cooling water spray to the heat exchanger of an air conditioning condenser unit is disclosed. The apparatus includes a solenoid valve for controlling the flow of water, a spray nozzle positioned so as to direct the cooling water spray onto the air intake side of the heat exchanger, and a control unit for controlling the solenoid valve. The control unit is essentially a very low frequency oscillator or timer, the "OFF" and "ON" durations of which are independently selectable.
