Abstract: The invention refers to a cartridge (1) adapted for insertion into a cartridge-seat that communicates with a low-pressure chamber, the cartridge by itself operating as a high-pressure chamber through the provision of a separate insert formed with a constriction that delays the flow of combustion gases into the low-pressure chamber. The insert is formed for insertion into the cartridge by the use of conventional reloading tools.
Abstract: Grenade cartridge adapted to be fired from a firing tube, comprising a projectile, a cartridge and a propellant with primer. The grenade cartridge (1) is rechargeable by having a dividable, two-part cartridge such that a cartridge front portion (3), as seen in the firing direction, is tube shaped and in a first end thereof formed to receive the projectile (2) whereas the other end is formed to be detachably connected with a cartridge rear portion (4), and a separate propellant cartridge (9) with primer is axially supported in opposite directions by the two cartridge portions being mutually connected.
