    Abstract: A system and method of integrating outbound text messaging capabilities to a telephone call center management system, wherein outbound text messages are a secondary means by which a customer can be contacted, the primary means being voice communications between a call center agent and the customer. The system includes a telephone call management system including a dialer for dialing a plurality of contact telephone numbers included in said at least one call record in a call list. Each call record includes a primary customer contact identifier, such as a voice line telephone number and at least one text message destination identifier, which is included as a secondary customer contact identifier. The system also includes a text message processing system, including text message memory for accepting and storing at least one text message for transmission to a text message receiving device and for transmitting the text message upon connection to the text message receiving device.

    Abstract: An intelligent information router system comprising a telephony controller coupled to a private branch exchange through a link interface. The telephony controller may communicate with a handle manager and a script interpreter engine. The telephony controller may receive information from the link interface regarding telephone calls being placed to the private branch exchange. The telephony controller may initiate actions with the script interpreter engine that access information stored in a database through a database controller. In response to action of the script interpreter engine, the telephony controller may instruct the private branch exchange to route the call to an appropriate location within a company depending on the information received by the private branch exchange through automatic transmission of data or interaction with the calling party.

    Abstract: A system and method for transferring voice and data from an outbound call platform to an inbound call platform. The outbound and inbound call platforms are separate hardware platforms connected to a controlling device using computer telephone integration (CTI) links and connected together using one or more communication paths, such as trunks or T1 lines. If an outbound agent connected to the outbound call platform determines that an outbound call should be handled by an inbound agent connected to the inbound call platform, the outbound agent can request a transfer of that outbound telephone call. The outbound dialer then transfers the voice portion of the outbound telephone call to a predetermined extension on the inbound platform, and the inbound platform assigns a call ID to the transferred outbound call. The transferred outbound call is assigned to the appropriate ACD queue until an inbound agent is available to handle the call.
