Based on the biometric feature, a data item is selected from a plurality of data items, wherein each item in the plurality of data items is associated with a different biometric feature. The data item is used, such as in a program as part of an operation that depends on the current context of the program. Additionally or alternatively, an apparatus comprises a peripheral device for obtaining a biometric feature of a user; a memory retaining a plurality of data items, wherein each item in the plurality of data items is associated with a different biometric feature; a processor configured to select a data item from the plurality of data items, wherein the selection is based on the biometric feature; and wherein said processor is further configured to utilize the data item.

Abstract: Method, system and product for cross-enterprise matching of assets to members. One method comprises generating a plurality of asset templates redeemable in a set of vendors participating in a campaign; and applying a matching logic to uniquely and persistently match each asset template with a member, wherein the matching logic is based on a universal member property, wherein the universal member property is a property of a member that is applicable by each participating vendor and is vendor-defined and the value of which is automatically computed based on a vendor definition. Another method comprises determining a modified campaign definition using a campaign modification obtained from a vendor and based on a campaign definition; generating asset templates based on the modified campaign definition; applying a matching logic to obtain a list of matched members each of which is persistently matched with an asset template.

Abstract: A computerized apparatus, a computer program product and a method performed by a computing device in a computerized environment, which comprises a purchase transaction processor utilizing an item catalog database. The computing device maintaining a shadow catalog database. The method comprises: in response to a transaction made by the purchase transaction processor, obtaining, by the computing device, a transaction record, wherein the transaction record comprising for each item in the transaction, an entry, wherein the entry comprising a name of the item and a transaction price of the item, wherein the entry is based on the item catalog database; and updating, based on the transaction record, the shadow catalog database, whereby the shadow catalog database is updated automatically based on transactions and without having a direct interface between the item catalog database and the shadow catalog database.

Abstract: A system and method for utilizing a server to synchronize launchers between a smartphone and a browser running on a personal computer of a user. When the user installs an application on his smartphone, the application's icon also appears automatically on a toolbar of the browser. The toolbar visually resembles the screen of the smartphone, and opening the icon of the toolbar launches, on the personal computer, a program that is identical or equivalent to the application installed on the smartphone.

Abstract: A method and system for associating a visual graphic with an article in a list of articles, to assist the user in identifying and distinguishing different articles in the list. Associated visuals may be selected from visuals embedded within the article, or may be retrieved from a visual pool via text-matching of article titles and text to text stored with the visuals in the visual pool. Embodiments of the invention provide methods for selecting a unique visual for each title in the list, even when the articles do not contain any illustrating visuals and even when illustrating visuals are duplicated among several different articles.
