  • Publication number: 20230093509
Abstract: A method and system for converting a single-use liner lined bottom-mix mixing vessel to a single-use liner lined top-mix missing vessel. A bottom mount magnetic impeller drive is replaced by a top mounted impeller drive. A support frame is placed on an upper portion of the mixing vessel and has an articulated joint supporting a motor drive assembly. A top-mix single-use liner is inserted into the mixing vessel. An impeller drive shaft is inserted through a rotary hub seal in the liner to drive an internal impeller. The rotary hub seal is located by a hub lock assembly attached to the motor drive assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220373103
Abstract: System and method for route-labeling a process fixture to assist installation of plural tubes, where the process fixture includes plural support plates cooperatively arranged. A first bracket is fixed to a first support plate, and plural tube clips are selectively attached to the first bracket, where each of the plural tube clips displays a unique color to distinguish one from another. A first route-indicator is disposed elsewhere on the process fixture, which displays a first color selected from the plural unique colors that matches a first one of the plural tube clips according to color, and which enables routing a first tube of the plural tubes according to the first color.

  • Patent number: 11236856
Abstract: A seismic retention assembly for retaining equipment supported on weigh modules in place during and after a seismic event. The assembly includes a seismic bracket with a mounting plate and a flange that extends beyond the weigh module, and with a retention aperture formed through the flange, located adjacent to the equipment. A retention fastener includes a nut fixed to the equipment in alignment with the aperture, and also a bolt that passes through the aperture and engages the nut. Clearance between the bolt and the aperture enables unimpeded operation of the weigh module during normal use, but limits movement during a seismic event.

  • Publication number: 20210310854
Abstract: A lockout assembly for selectively limiting the force applied to a weigh module, with a load cell, that senses force applied to a top plate from an equipment flange. A cowling with a flange spacer, is placed between the top plate and the equipment flange. The cowling has a jack arm that extends laterally and downwardly therefrom, and a jack screw extending downwardly, adjacent a support structure. A jack nut is threaded onto the jack screw, and is adjustable between a lockout position wherein the jack nut engages the support structure, and a weighing position wherein the jack nut does not engage the support structure.

  • Patent number: 9611674
Abstract: An interlock assembly for a door latch mechanism of a door in a container for bulk material that has an interior lined with a membrane for holding fluid. The interlock assembly includes a plunger in an aperture formed through the door, which moves between an extended position, where the plunger extends into the interior of the container, and a locked position, where the plunger is urged outwardly from of the interior of the container. A spring is positioned to apply a force to urge the plunger to the extended position. A lock member is connected to move with the plunger between the extended position and the locked position. The spring force is selected to enable the membrane, under static pressure of fluid within the container, to urge the plunger to the locked position, thereby engaging the lock member to interlock against operation of the door latch.

  • Patent number: 9140595
Abstract: A level indicator for a container that is lined with a membrane for holding fluid, and which has a wall with an aperture formed through it. A frame is attached to the container wall adjacent to the aperture. A plunger is engaged with the frame, and moves between an extended position, where the plunger extends through the aperture and into the interior of the container, and a retracted position, where the plunger does not substantially extend into the interior of the container. An elastic member between the frame and the plunger urges the plunger to the extended position. A visual indicator is driven by the plunger between an indicating position and a non-indicating position. The force of the elastic member is selected to enable the membrane, under static pressure of fluid within the container, to urge the plunger to the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20150135643
Abstract: A lifting assembly for a polymeric liner disposed within a fluid material container. The assembly includes a pneumatic linear drive, and, an interface member that is supportively connecting to the polymeric liner. A tension line is coupled between the pneumatic linear drive and the interface member, and a line guide is positioned to route the tension line to a central location above the polymeric liner, and thereby correspondingly locates the interface member. A pneumatic controller actuates the pneumatic linear drive to move in a first direction, to move in a second direction, or to remain in a fixed position. Movement of the pneumatic linear drive in the first direction causes the tension line to lift the interface member in an upward direction, and, movement of the pneumatic linear drive in the second direction causes the tension line to lower the interface member in a downward direction.
