  • Patent number: 6482335
Abstract: An electrically conductive adhesive composition and method of making and using the same comprising a thermosetting resin, a hardening agent, conductive carbon powder and conductive carbon fibers each having a length of about 13 mm long and a concentration of about eight percent (8%) by weight of the composition for promoting conductivity across bonds in systems designed to prevent build-up and storage of static electrical charges.

  • Patent number: 5615700
Abstract: A double containment manhole fitting for use with a double containment pipe with inner carrier pipes and outer containment pipes. The fitting includes an inner T carrier housing that may be connected to the inner carrier pipes, the housing having a removable cap. An outer containment housing has a larger diameter than the height of the inner carrier housing, the outer carrier housing having a V-shaped opening. A plurality of spiders are attached to the carrier housing to concentrically position the inner carrier housing within the outer carrier housing. The branch assembly is attached to the outer containment housing V-shaped opening, the branch assembly having a removable cover to provide access to the removable cap of the carrier housing.

  • Patent number: 5546977
Abstract: An integral dual containment valve system for dual containment piping having inner carrier pipes for fluid and outer carrier pipes. The dual containment valve system includes an inner carrier housing connectable to the inner carrier pipes. A valve controls flow of fluid through the inner carrier housing. An outer containment housing surrounds the inner carrier housing and surrounds the valve. The outer containment housing connects to the outer containment pipes. The outer containment housing provides sealable access to the valve.

  • Patent number: 5419593
Abstract: A process to install an interlocking union for joining a first double containment pipe having a first carrier pipe within a first containment pipe to a second double containment pipe having a second carrier pipe within a second containment pipe. The process includes slipping a first locking ring into position over the outside diameter of the first carrier pipe to stop against the first containment pipe. A carrier coupling is adhesively bonded to the first carrier pipe stopping against the first locking ring. Thereafter, a second locking ring is slipped into position over the second carrier pipe stopping against the second containment pipe. The carrier coupling is adhesively bonded to the second carrier pipe stopping against the second locking ring. Finally, a containment coupling is bonded to the first containment pipe and to the second containment pipe.

  • Patent number: 5368338
Abstract: A containment interlocking union for use with a containment pipe which encloses a carrier pipe. The containment interlocking union is placed in position around a coupling in the carrier pipe. The interlocking union includes a first joint member and a second joint member positioned circumferentially adjacent to each other and coupled to the containment pipe. The first joint member comprises a first coupling portion of a major radius sealably engaging an outer circumferential surface of an end of the double containment pipe, a pair of second coupling portions of a minor radius adjacent the first coupling portion providing a pair of flanges abutting the ends of the carrier pipe coupling providing longitudinal support of the carrier pipe coupling, and a third coupling portion of an intermediate radius adjacent the second coupling portion.
