Publication number: 20230196898Abstract: A power supply unit may include a power supply interface, a first interface, a second interface, an input/output (I/O) interface, and a graphics processing unit (GPU). The power supply receives a power supply from a transport vehicle. The first interface is communicatively coupled to a short-range network associated with the transport vehicle. The second interface is coupled to one or more of K, Ka, or KU-band antennas to communicate with one or more of a satellite or a base station. The I/O interface is coupled to one or more sensors. The GPU is coupled to the power supply interface, the first interface, the second interface, and the I/O interface. The GPU may receive data from the one or more sensors, determine an alert based on the received data, and send the alert to one or more computing devices via one or more of the first interface or the second interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2022Publication date: June 22, 2023Applicant: Anderson Connectivity, Inc.Inventors: Christopher Snyder, Brian David Anderson, Stephen C. Patent number: 10680339Abstract: Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of antennas that may be configured to be low profile, omnidirectional, ceiling mountable, and/or multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO). In an exemplary embodiment, an antenna generally includes first and second radiators and a ground plane. First and second edge portions of the ground plane may configured to be operable for reducing null at azimuth plane to thereby allow the antenna to have more omnidirectional radiation patterns for the azimuth plane. The antenna may be configured to have an asymmetrical perpendicular dipole configuration. A neutral line may be spaced apart from and proximity coupled to the ground plane. The ground plane may comprise first and second ground plane extension arms and/or a slant cutout defined between spaced-apart first and second lower portions of the ground plane. The ground plane may include a bridge portion extending between the spaced-apart first and second lower portions of the ground plane.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2018Date of Patent: June 9, 2020Assignee: Laird Connectivity, Inc.Inventors: Kok Jiunn Ng, Choon Chung Su, Yen Siang Tan

Patent number: 10573961Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are provided of antenna housing assemblies. In an exemplary embodiment, an assembly generally includes a radome having an outer surface, an inner surface, a first end, and a second end opposite the first end. A top cap is coupled to the first end of the radome via an ultrasonic weld joint. A first sealing member is disposed about the top cap such that the first sealing member is positioned between the top cap and the inner surface of the radome. A bottom cap is fastened to the second end of the radome via an ultrasonic weld joint. A second sealing member is disposed about the bottom cap such that the second sealing member is positioned between the bottom cap and the inner surface of the radome. Exemplary methods of assembling antenna housings are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2017Date of Patent: February 25, 2020Assignee: Laird Connectivity, Inc.Inventors: Wei Tat Ng, Chit Yong Hang, Michael James McGinnis
