Abstract: A neck exercise machine is provided for standing use. The machine has a head pad which can be vertically adjusted to accommodate different user heights. The head pad is mounted on an arm, which is pivotally connected to the machine frame for movement about a first horizontal axis, so that the arm and head pad can be raised and lowered, and then locked in place for use. The head pad is connected to a cam for rotation about a second horizontal axis in use, with selected resistance.

Abstract: A weightlifting rack includes a tower with a pair of arms terminating in catches to support a weighted bar. An actuator powered by an electric motor is connected to the arms to adjust the vertical position of the arms to accommodate different height weightlifters. After the bar is lifted from the catches, the catches can be pivoted rearwardly out of the way while the weightlifter performs exercises.

Abstract: The squat machine of the present invention includes a base having opposite sides, a stationary foot plate fixed on the base, a pair of frames each pivotally mounted to respective sides of the base, and a back rest pivotally mounted to the frames so that the frames and back rests are moveable between an initial squat position and an extended position. The back rest is oriented at approximately a 45°-60° angle in the squat position and moves toward a substantially horizontal orientation in the extended position. In use, with proportional foot platement on the foot plate, the user's knees remain behind their toes throughout full range of motion through the hips during movement of the back rest so as to minimize risk of knee shear. The orientation of the back rest minimizes risk of spinal compression during use of the machine.

Abstract: An adjustable weightlifting bench includes a base, a backrest pivotally mounted on the base for movement between a plurality of angled positions, and a seat pivotally mounted on the base for movement between a plurality of angled positions. A linkage assembly interconnects the backrest and the seat, such that seat moves automatically and simultaneously when the backrest position is adjusted. The upper surface of the seat is free from obstruction by the backrest in all positions of the backrest.
