Abstract: The present invention relates to a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding at least one complementary determining region (CDR) of a variable region of an antibody, said antibody specifically interacting with the extracellular domain of the human zeta-chain, said antibody being obtainable by immunizing a rat with Jurkat cells and subsequently with a conjugate comprising a carrier molecule and a peptide comprising the 11 N-terminal amino acids of a the rat zeta-chain. Preferably, the (poly)peptide encoded by the nucleic acid molecule of the invention is a monospecific or bispecific antibody. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising i. a. the nucleic acid molecule or antibody of the invention as well as to kits comprising the aforementioned compounds. Finally, the invention relates to a method for the determination of zeta-chain or eta-chain expression on NK-cells, T-cells or precursors thereof employing the antibody of the invention.
