Abstract: A spigot assembly is provided that includes a vertical water conducting component, connected by an elbow joint to a horizontal water conducting component which terminates in a spigot which may be of conventional design. The bottom end of the vertical water conducting component is provided with a coupler, such as a hose adapter, for attachment directly or indirectly to a source of water, such as a conventional garden hose. A clamping assembly is mounted to the vertical component so as to be selectively slidable therealong and then selectively locked thereto at a desired point to determine the height of the spigot relative to a working surface.
