Abstract: A stand assembly for providing support to a firearm comprises a housing and a base. The housing includes a track body. The track body defines a plurality grooves. A tracking mechanism is configured to slidably engage the track body and navigate along the plurality of grooves. A joint mechanism is coupled to the tracking mechanism. A plurality of support members and a pull rod are coupled to the joint mechanism. The base is secured to the pull rod and is configured to releasably circumscribe an outer surface of the housing. The plurality of support members are configured to transition from a retracted position within the housing to a deployed position outside of the housing when the base is released from the outer surface of the housing and moved distally away from the housing.
