    Abstract: Alkoxysilane-terminated prepolymers prepared by reaction of a methylene-spaced isocyanate-reactive group-containing alkoxysilane in molar excess with an isocyanate-reactive prepolymer have high reactivity towards atmospheric moisture while preparing elastomers of high tensile strength and elongation.
