    Abstract: An arrangement for feeding at least a part of a drilling machine in at least a first direction. A drilling system and a method are provided. The arrangement includes a first end portion, a second end portion, an outer cylinder, a piston and a piston rod. The piston and the piston rod are displaceably arranged in the outer cylinder such that the piston and the piston rod, the outer cylinder and the end portions delimits a first chamber and a second chamber for a pressure medium in the outer cylinder on a respective side of the piston. A valve is connected to the first chamber for reducing the pressure medium in the first chamber. The valve is arranged to be opened at an increased pressure in the second chamber.

The first weight is eccentrically fixed to the shaft, and the second weight is eccentrically arranged at the shaft. The second weight is clutchable between an idle mode when driven in the direction, and a rotatable mode when driven in the direction. The shaft is arranged to cause the first amplitude of the vibration by the first weight in the idle mode, and the second weight is arranged to rotate synchronously with the shaft in the rotatable mode to cause the second amplitude of the vibration.

The control is provided on a rear handle in close proximity to the starter such that the control and the starter can be reached at the same time with one hand. Hereby, it is possible, with one hand, to activate and interrupt activation of the rock drill machine respectively, and simultaneously regulate the feed leg to feed the rock drill machine in the drilling direction and interrupt the feeding of the rock drill machine in the drilling direction.
