Abstract: A stormwater collection system includes a planting bed containing live plant matter, and at least one collection chamber located within the planting bed and beneath or within the root zone of the live plant matter. The collection chamber defines a collection volume. The system includes one or more of (i) the collection chamber having a top side configured to define an initial collection zone for stormwater that infiltrates down through the planting bed, (ii) a capillary feed path to deliver stormwater into the collection chamber or (iii) a wick element that extends upward from the collection chamber within a pipe and into the root zone.

Abstract: A stormwater treatment device includes a tank defining an internal volume and having an inlet and an outlet, a rotatable screen unit mounted within the tank, the rotatable screen unit defining a through path with an inlet end and an outlet end. The rotatable screen unit includes a screen structure with a plurality of screening openings for allowing passage of at least some stormwater from the through path outwardly through the screen structure while inhibiting passage of at least some trash items through the screen structure such that the trash items move along the through path from the inlet end to the outlet end. The stormwater treatment device may include both a normal treatment flow path and one or more bypass treatment flow paths.

Abstract: A system for removing sediment from water is disclosed. The exemplary embodiments described herein disclose a system with a chamber having a deck positioned inside to divide it into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The deck may have a plurality of holes to hold filtration elements and also may have a ridge or a skirt or both. The filtration elements may be filter cartridges with multiple elongated filter elements that extend down into the lower chamber.

An elongated reinforcing member extends substantially parallel to the corrugation direction and mounted to both the first bracket and the second bracket.

The supported bridge further includes, a first and second abutment extending underneath the plurality girders in a direction transverse to the spanwise direction. The transverse abutments are mounted beneath the plurality of girders. The first steel abutment is located toward a first end of the prefabricated bridge and the second steel abutment is located toward a second end of the prefabricated bridge. Each abutment includes a beam and a bottom plate. The beam includes an upper flange, a lower flange, and a web connecting the upper flange and lower flange. The bottom plate is mounted on a bottom surface of the lower flange and has a width that is at least 1.5 times as great as a width of the lower flange.

The separator may include one or more of the first opening being of arcuate shape, a perforated shroud extending downward from the insert within the lower chamber and/or an upflow pipe extending downward from the second opening into the lower chamber, a bottom of the upflow pipe covered, and a slot opening in a sidewall of the upflow pipe.

Abstract: A system providing environmentally friendly pathway tunnel utilizes a bottom configuration with multiple elongated beams and slots. One or more of the beams includes upstanding sedimentation members that are spaced apart along a span of the tunnel. The system interacts with the flowing water and earthen material in the flowing water such that capture and settling of the earthen material at locations along the tunnel occurs to produce a more natural water flow pathway along the tunnel.
