  • Patent number: 9576235
Abstract: Disclosed is a wireless transceiver for a vehicle and a method of manufacturing the same. In a wireless transceiver manufacturing process according to the present disclosure and a method of manufacturing the same, both of the top and bottom sides of a circuit board, on which components are mounted, are encapsulated using a resin material in a state where the circuit board floats in a cavity. A pin configured to support the circuit board is installed and a decoration flat member is fixed to the surface of the circuit board opposite to the side where the pin is installed using double-sided tape. As a result, it is possible to prevent the resin case from being warped by heat generated from the circuit board. In addition, it is possible to omit an existing post-processing process for preventing the damage to the circuit board which may be caused when one side of the circuit board is exposed to the outside as it is. Thus, steps of the manufacturing process and the manufacturing costs can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 9555780
Abstract: A method of controlling an electronic parking brake of a vehicle having a dual clutch transmission. The method includes: identifying a slope of an area in which the vehicle is located in order to determine whether the identified slope exceeds a predetermined slope value; determining whether both of two clutches are opened in a safe mode when the identified slope exceeds the predetermined slope value; determining whether the vehicle moves upward in a front direction when both of the two clutches are opened; and operating the electronic parking brake when the vehicle moves upward in the front direction. When the vehicle moves upward in the front direction on the inclined road, the electronic parking brake is automatically operated to prevent the vehicle from slipping in the rear direction. Therefore, the method can effectively improve the safety of the driver and vehicle even when the driver is inept in pedal operation.

  • Patent number: 8645018
Abstract: A system and method for determining the time to change the oil of an automatic transmission includes: continuously tracing/storing oil change-related information, which serves as a basis for an oil change, from the point of time when new automatic transmission oil is provided, such as the point in time of a new car purchase or the point in time of an automatic transmission oil change; determining whether or not it is time to change the oil of the automatic transmission on the basis of the oil change-related information, a preset change reference value, an oil temperature reference value, a recommended vehicle travel mileage and the like. When it is determined to be the time to change the oil of the automatic transmission, an automatic transmission oil change signal is generated to inform a driver of the necessity of changing the oil of the automatic transmission.
