    Abstract: An apparatus for reducing crosstalk between cathodes of detector diodes of an imager detector array includes a capacitor and voltage switch coupled into a detector bias network to virtually isolate a detector diode from a common cathode power plane while simultaneously ‘powering’ the diode for image acquisition, e.g., photo current detection. A method includes a timing sequence wherein during non-acquisition time intervals, the capacitor is charged through the voltage switch by turning the switch on to allow charge to flow into the capacitor from a common supply plane. The method further includes disconnecting the capacitor before an acquisition timer interval such that during the acquisition time interval, the current through the detector diode, caused by incident flux, comes from the capacitor and not from the common cathode power plane.

    Abstract: An air spring assembly for a vehicle having a damper body decoupled from a piston, allowing the damper to rotate freely without inducing torsion into the piston. The air spring assembly includes a damper body, where part of the damper body is disposed in a piston, and a decoupling mechanism connected to the damper body. The decoupling mechanism allows for rotation of the damper body relative to the piston, preventing torsion from being transferred from the damper body to the piston. The decoupling mechanism includes an adapter ring connected to the damper body, and a rotatable machine element surrounding the damper body. The adapter ring is surrounded part of the piston, and the rotatable machine element is adjacent the adapter ring. The inner wall of the piston is in contact with the rotatable machine element, such that the rotatable machine element facilitates relative rotation between the piston and damper body.

The method includes identifying the trailer coupler of the trailer within one or more images of a rearward environment of the tow vehicle. The method also includes receiving sensor data from an inertial measurement unit supported by the tow vehicle. The method includes determining a pixel-wise intensity difference between a current received image from the one or more images and a previously received image from the one or more images. The method includes determining the distance based on the identified trailer coupler, the sensor data, and the pixel-wise intensity difference, the distance includes a longitudinal distance, a lateral distance, and a vertical distance.

    Abstract: A blind spot detection system for a motorcycle, which includes an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a detection device for detecting the presence of a vehicle in at least one blind spot. The accelerometer detects a gravity force vector, and the gyroscope detects the position of the motorcycle relative to the gravity force vector such that a lean angle of the motorcycle is calculated. The detection device is then configured to maintain the same position of the motorcycle relative to the gravity force vector and compensate for the position of the motorcycle if the lean angle is greater or less than 90°, such that the detection device is able to detect the presence of the vehicle in the at least one blind spot, independent of the lean angle of the motorcycle.

    Abstract: A heat shield for a reductant delivery unit (RDU), the RDU including a fluid injector with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and a clamp flange for attachment to a mounting boss of a vehicle exhaust pipe. The heat shield includes a first portion which is attached to the fluid injector so as to at least partly cover the fluid outlet thereof. The first portion serves as a thermal barrier for the fluid injector and a mechanical barrier for preventing particles in the vehicle exhaust pipe from contacting the fluid injector when the RDU is attached to the vehicle exhaust pipe. The heat shield further includes a second portion which extends radially outwardly from the first portion for sealing the attachment between the clamp flange and the mounting boss of the vehicle exhaust pipe when the RDU is attached thereto.
