  • Patent number: 11550480
Abstract: A method of identifying errors or manipulations of data or software, includes receiving a first hash value stored in a first block of the memory, receiving a second hash value from a reference memory, and comparing the hash values. If different, error correction information and the content of the first block is received. The content of the first block is reconstructed by in accordance with the error correction information, generating a hash value and comparing the hash value of the modified content with the received first hash value, until the modified content and the received hash values are identical. The content of the first block received from the reference memory and the content of the reconstructed first block stored in the memory of the device are compared for identifying the differences in the content.

  • Patent number: 11516191
Abstract: A method of secure data export from an automotive ECU to a requesting entity includes receiving a signed request, the request transmitting a first public encryption key. The signature is verified using a second public key stored in the automotive ECU. Further, the requesting entity is authenticated. Only upon successful verification and authentication the automotive ECU generates a random symmetric key for encrypting the data to be exported. The symmetric key is encrypted using the first public key received in the request, and unencrypted data is deleted. The encrypted data is exported to the requesting entity, which decrypts the symmetric key using a first private key associated with the first public key, and decrypts the data encrypted with the symmetric key.

  • Publication number: 20220373096
Abstract: A solenoid valve has a valve plunger which is guided in a passage bore of a valve housing. The valve plunger with its valve closing element is held in a basic position by a restoring spring. The basic position opens up a valve passage in a valve seat. The valve plunger is arranged between an inlet and an outlet channel in the valve housing. A magnet armature provides actuation of the valve plunger. An inlet chamber is connected to the inlet channel between the passage bore and the valve seat. The valve plunger protrudes into the inlet chamber by way of a step section. As a result of being hydraulically impinged on by the pressure medium of the inlet channel an axial force is generated on the valve plunger that acts oppositely to the closing direction of the valve plunger.

  • Publication number: 20220332294
Abstract: A multi-disk brake (1) for a motor vehicle has two multi-disk mechanisms (7, 8) and an actuation device (9) for brake actuation and/or brake release of the multi-disk mechanisms (7, 8), and an electric drive (16) for translational actuation (spreading) of the actuation device, such as, in particular, the ramp unit (9). During a spreading operation, the multi-disk mechanisms (7, 8) are pretensioned in a metered manner by the actuation device and produce a desired frictional engagement, and a correspondingly reversed activation of the actuating mechanism enables a correspondingly metered brake release. By means of the electric drive (16), the action of the multi-disk brake (1) can be metered overall in a particularly precise, sensitive and compensated manner in modern vehicle topology, including all peripheral brake components and systems, including recuperation.
