Abstract: A hydrojet rotary drill bit (10) is provided for drilling a hole in a subsurface formation. The bit body (12) includes a plurality of axially extending ribs (16a, b, c, d, e, and f) and a flow channel between adjacent ribs. A plurality of cutting elements are fixedly mounting on a respective one of the plurality of ribs. A plurality of flow nozzles (20a, b, c, d, e, and f) made on respective one of the plurality of ribs to direct fluid (mud) to a respective one of the plurality of cutting elements to clean and cool the cutting elements.
Abstract: An injection molding apparatus for generally toroidal or donut-shaped articles having a hollow interior includes a hollow-interior forming member that is positioned within the mold cavity during injection to form the hollow interior of the article, and that is moved away from the mold cavity to allow removal of the molded article when the injection molding apparatus is opened following molding. The hollow-interior forming member includes an open section or gap that is closed by a gap-filling member when the injection molding apparatus is closed. When the injection molding apparatus is opened following molding, the gap-filling member vacates the open section or gap to enable the molded article to be manually separated from the annular member.
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a flip chip package structure is provided and has following steps: providing at least one silicon substrate having a connecting surface and at least one conductive base attached to the connecting surface; arranging a graphene copper layer covering the conductive base; laminating a photoresist layer on the connecting surface, etching the photoresist layer to form a cavity corresponding to the conductive base, and a portion of the graphene copper layer corresponding to the conductive base being exposed on a bottom of the cavity; electroplating a copper material on the graphene copper layer, and the copper material being accumulated in the cavity to form a copper pillar; removing the photoresist layer and the graphene copper layer covered by the photoresist layer.
Abstract: One aspect of the invention provides a cap comprising: a plane defining an opening and a slidable closure adapted and configured to seal the opening. The slidable closure includes: a projection extending above an external surface of the plane and a flexible seal coupled to the projection and located on an internal surface of the plane opposite the projection. The flexible seal includes: a connection portion coupled to the projection; a sealing portion having a profile that is complementary to a shape of the opening; and a flexible hinge adapted and configured to bias the sealing portion against the internal surface. Another aspect of the invention provides a container assembly including: a container and the cap as described herein coupled to the container.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a solar reflecting film and a preparation method thereof. The solar reflecting film includes a substrate and a functional layer stacked on each other. The functional layer includes a first reflecting layer, a barrier layer, and a second reflecting layer stacked on the substrate in order. The barrier layer includes a first barrier layer and a second barrier layer stacked on the first barrier layer. The first barrier layer is metal fluoride, inorganic non-metallic oxide, metal oxide or a combination thereof. The second barrier layer is metal oxides, metal nitrides, semiconductor doped compounds or a combination thereof. And a material of the first barrier layer is at least partially different from that of the second barrier layer.

Abstract: A radiative cooling film and a product thereof are provided. The radiative cooling film includes a carrier layer, a reflective layer and an emissive layer stacked together. A light shines on the radiative cooling film from the emissive layer. The emissive layer includes a polymer containing a C—F bond. The carrier layer includes a polymer containing at least one of a C—C bond and a C—O bond. After disposing at 120 degrees centigrade for 30 minutes, a transverse direction heat-shrinkage rate of the carrier layer is less than or equal to 2%, and a machine direction heat-shrinkage rate of the carrier layer is less than or equal to 3%. A thickness of the radiative cooling film is in a range of 50 m to 170 ?m, and a thickness of the emissive layer accounts for 20% to 90% of the thickness of the radiative cooling film.

Abstract: A method for capturing material extracted from biochar is provided comprising the steps of: (i) providing a biochar; (ii) contacting the biochar with an extraction media, where the extraction media causes the removal of residual compounds from the pores and surface of the biochar, creating a resulting extract comprised of the extraction media and removed compounds; and (iii) collecting the resulting extract. The method also can include other steps of extraction and purification. The method further comprises the step of applying the resulting extract to seeds, plants, soil, other agricultural products, or for use in other applications. A biochar having high levels of soluble signaling compounds is also provided, where the biochar is derived from a biomass source that together with predefined pyrolysis parameters produces resulting biochar having increased levels of soluble signaling compounds that are known to increase seed germination rates and early plant growth.
