    Abstract: The present invention provides a receiving circuit for magnetic coupling resonant wireless power transmission comprising: a resonant circuit, which comprises a resonant coil and a resonant capacitor; a rectifying circuit, the input of which is electrically connected to the two terminals of the resonant capacitor; a storage capacitor, the two terminals of which are electrically connected to the output of rectifying circuit; and a DC-DC converter, the input of which is electrically connected to the two terminals of the storage capacitor and the output of which is electrically connected to a rechargeable battery. The receiving circuit for magnetic coupling resonant wireless power transmission of the present invention can save energy and has high charge efficiency.

    Abstract: A wind turbine system includes turbine blades (16) that turn a low speed shaft (18). A shrink disc coupling (24) radially connects the low speed shaft to a low speed gear box input shaft (22). A brake (26) for the gear box input shaft is operatively connected with the coupling. At least one circuit including a processor controls the brake to keep torsional force on the gear box input shaft below a threshold. The at least one circuit is associated with sensors that can sense conditions away from the gear box input shaft. The at least one circuit can determine when a current condition exists which can cause the threshold to soon be exceeded if preventive braking is not timely applied to the gear box input shaft. The current condition can include a sensed weather condition that is approaching the wind turbine system.

In some instances the current transformer powers the LED light source(s), and in other instances, the current transformer charges the energy storage device and the energy storage device in turn powers the LED light source(s), and in yet other instances, a combination of powering directly from the current transformer or energy storage device may be switched back and forth depending on a variety of parameters.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a gear includes forming a bi-material billet from a steel cylinder having a cylindrical wall, a first end closed with a first steel cap, and an open second end distal to the first end. The method includes disposing a core material other than steel into the steel cylinder, welding a second steel cap onto the steel cylinder to form the bi-material billet, and heating the cylindrical wall. The method includes a first forging blow on the heated billet or on a disk-shaped rough forging forged from the heated billet with a first closed blocker die to produce a partial toothed preform, and a second forging blow on the preform with a second closed blocker die to produce a netshape gear. The first closed blocker die has a die cavity including gear tooth forms, and the partial toothed preform includes a plurality of spaced gear teeth.
